A good stay starts with clear expectations

House rules

A guest-friendly rules page is part of the plan. The owners should agree the final policies before a booking link goes live.

Draft for partner reviewThese are topics to settle together, not final guest terms. Add the agreed details before publishing them as official house rules.

Guest count and visitors

Confirm the maximum overnight guest count, daytime visitors, and how children are counted. The beds currently accommodate 8; a larger capacity remains to be confirmed.

Arrival and departure

Choose check-in and check-out times, access instructions, and the process for reporting a maintenance issue or urgent concern.

Shared parking and clubhouse

Explain which parking spaces belong to the rental and which serve the adjacent public-bookable golf course clubhouse. Do not imply reserved clubhouse access.

Quiet, pets, and smoking

Agree on quiet hours and whether pets, smoking, or gatherings beyond the registered group are allowed.

Lake and dock

Set dock access and waterfront safety expectations. Any boat use, life-safety equipment, age supervision, and water conditions should be addressed in the final rules.

Planned amenities

The four-season pavilion is planned and the pontoon is only a possible future rental. Neither should be advertised as available until ready and approved for guest use.

Before this page becomes officialAgree occupancy, parking, check-in/out, quiet hours, pet and smoking policies, dock and waterfront expectations, cancellation terms, and emergency contacts.
